Involved in the Community
Dom is involved in many community activities:  an Italian men's club which raises over $20,000 per year for scholarships for local students, Howland Rotary, and Trumbull County Historical Society to name a few.  Bernice is a member of Trumbull Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, on the board of the Trumbull-Mercer Red Cross, Warren Grows, and serves on the Senior Advisory Committee of Trumbull County.  They have served as chairs of fund-raisers for the Multilple Myeloma Research Fund over the past few years.   They always find time to devote their energies to worthwhile causes within the area because of their commitment and appreciation of life here.

Experience...As a licensed REALTOR® since 1977, Dom Marino knows how to keep your real estate transaction stress-free.  And as the past President of the Warren Area Board of REALTORS®, he´ll put his leadership skills to work for you.  Dom has held other positions within the real estate community, including Director of the Warren Area Board of REALTORS®, past president of the Multiple Listing Service and Treasurer of the Warren Area Board of REALTORS®.  When Bernice retired from her job as a high school guidance counselor after 34 years at Howland High School, she quickly joined Dom in assuring each client´s real estate experience went smoothly from beginning to end.  As a tribute to her success, Bernice was voted REALTOR® of the Year in 2005;  Dom was Realtor of the Year in 2006.  What a team!

Education...Guiding you through the maze of steps involved in completing a home sale or purchase is second nature to a former vocational counselor like Dom and guidance counselor like Bernice!  A native of Niles, Ohio, Dom attended Ohio schools and earned a degree in education from Youngstown University.  In 1965 he acquired his Master´s Degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.  Dom remembers most fondly his elementary teaching days at Francis E. Willard Elementary School in Warren, Elm Road Elementary and McKinley Elementary and Warren Western Reserve High School where he retired in 1992 as a vocational coordinator in the Occupational Work Adjustment Program.

Bernice graduated from Warren G. Harding High School at age 16 and received her Bachelor´s degree from Youngstown University at age 20.  She went on to teach Latin and English at Champion High School for two years before being employed by Howland High School for 34 years.

Commitment...Bernice and Dom are committed family members, business owners and active members of your community.  Dom was one of 11 children born to Philomena and John Marino, a political leader and trucker, in Niles, Ohio.  When Dom was 12, his father died, and Dom took on a paper route to help his homemaker-turned cook mom.  This diligent, industrious attitude motivated Dom as he earned his way through college as a county road laborer, factory worker and business owner.  With Bernice and Dom on your side, you know you´ll have a team who will work hard to reach your goals.
